I made my Bass Performance Hall debut on Sunday, July 14, 2024 accompanying Yoga with a View! The class lead by Lori Atkins-Williamson of Bumblebee Yoga Community of Fort Worth was so much fun, we held an encore class on Sunday, August 4th. Harp adds an amazing ambiance to a yoga class! I mostly improvised to go with the flow (literally). I also played a few pieces from the solo harp repertoire, and familiar favorites like Across the Universe by the Beatles, Lenard Cohen's Hallelujah and Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World for shavasana at the end of class. In true Fort Worth fashion, I ran into some friends at both Yoga with a View classes!

TCU Harps performed at the TCU College of Science and Engineering's Student Research Symposium. TCU Music Preparatory harp students received certificates and medals for all of their accomplishments this year at the spring Music Preparatory Recitals. Harper was invited to perform on the American Harp Society Dallas Chapter's Annual Student Recital.
This evening the TCU Harp Ensemble presented and eclectic evening of harp music by our composer friends as well as performances with special guests. The program included jazz originals by Cindy Horstman, cosmic inspirations by Julia Kay Jaimeson, French impressions by Megan Metheney, and more.
