Weddings

I enjoy working with clients to select and perform music to make their celebration memorable.

I’ve helped many couples choose music for their wedding ceremony that best reflects their unique personality, tastes and desires. Whether the ceremony is traditional or not so traditional, harp music will create the perfect customized ambience for your celebration.

All wedding ceremony clients receive a free wedding consultation live at my home studio or via online video conference. At the consultation I play excerpts of music from my repertoire and together we choose the music for your ceremony that you like best. The consultation typically lasts no longer than one hour, and a non-refundable deposit is due at that time to reserve your wedding date.

Music for a ceremony package includes...

  • Prelude ~ Approximately 20-30 minutes of romantic and joyful background music while the guests are being seated, and sets the desired mood for the occasion. Couples do not need to choose all the music for the prelude.
  • Processional ~ Music performed at a gentle walking tempo while the members of the wedding party and the bride walk down the isle. Some couples choose to have more than one processional piece, especially if the wedding party is large, with a separate processional for the bride. Couples can also request a special processional selection for the seating of parents and grandparents.
  • The Ceremony ~ Optional interlude of music during moments in the ceremony such as: communion, signing of the family bible, or lighting the unity candle, etc.
  • Recessional ~ Joyful and jubilant music performed at a faster tempo while the bride & groom and members of the wedding party recess back down the isle.
  • Postlude ~ 5-10 minutes of music immediately after the recessional while the guests exit.
