Fall 2020 Session Information

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our rehearsals and performances for the Fall 2020 session will held online. The safety and health of our members is our highest priority.

This fall, members of the SCHE will individually record pieces to be released in a series of online videos in December.
  • Rehearsals: 30 minute individual coaching session (1 per piece you plan to record) online via Zoom with Kela Walton
  • Performances: video recording projects to be submitted in October/November and released online in December

Suggested Donation: $50
Your donation covers instruction time and the cost to edit performance videos. Participation is open to any harpist who wants to join this fall, regardless of location or financial situation. Additional instruction is available upon request.

Music: Ensemble members will be provided links to purchase licensed PDFs of the music for the video recording project. Additionally guide recordings will also be provided. Members may choose to record only one or both of the pieces for the video recording project. We work with members to choose music and parts that are tailored to their current skill level.
The first recording must be submitted by November 1st, and the second by November 15th so we have time to edit them and premiere them before Christmas.

We are looking forward to going back to our regular in person rehearsals and performances, when it is safe and responsible to do so.
