* For outdoor
events:
-
The harp must be
positioned on a dry, level, concrete, brick or wooden surface;
out of direct sunlight; away from water; and at reasonable
temperatures and humidity levels. Additionally in strong
or gusty winds, it is challenge to play the flute and downright
dangerous to play the harp. Our instruments are expensive
and we must protect them at all costs.
-
No outdoor
bookings accepted during the months of January, February,
August, November, or December - due to typically unpredictable
extreme temperatures and weather conditions in central Texas.
-
If, during the
course of the performance, it begins to rain (even a slight
mist), you will immediately see us pack-up our instruments and
move indoors - no matter what else is going on at the time. The
slightest moisture can permanently damage our instruments.
Please understand, we must protect the substantial investment we
have made in our instruments and other equipment.
-
We
require all of our clients with outdoor events to provide (and
use as needed) an alternate inclement weather site available
during the same hours as the outdoor event, prior to our
accepting the gig.
We cannot perform outdoors in
inclement weather. Should inclement weather conditions make it
impossible to complete the performance, the full amount of the
contract is nevertheless due.
